Although legislation may make a distinction between staff and volunteers, the reality is child safety does not. Whether in direct or non-direct child-facing positions, it is important for everyone supporting organisations working with children and young people to receive safeguarding and child protection training.

This eLearning course helps volunteers and helpers access safeguarding and child protection training in a manner that is proportionate and practical to their needs and availability. Learners will explore common organisational safeguarding and child protection requirements and the safeguarding and child protection knowledge and skills needed to help them in their volunteer/helper role.
